The Process

Naturopathic medicine provides a unique and individualized approach towards health care. This means that we will be focusing on your health from all angles. We do this by assessing your health goals and determining effective strategies for achieving and maintaining them in the long term.

The Initial

This is where the learning happens! Be prepared for lots of questions about your health history and lifestyle. This appointment is meant to give as much information as possible so that I can create a unique treatment plan just for you. If time allows and depending on the reason for your visit, we may also perform some physical exams and send you for blood work. Testing is often an important part of understanding your personal health and what might be happening in your body. It's also a great way to track your progress over time and helps us confirm that your treatment plan is both working well and is a good fit for you. During this appointment you may be sent home with some baseline treatments to start but you can expect a more detailed plan in your follow-up visit.

The Follow-Up

After your initial visit, an individualized treatment plan will be created just for you. You will receive this more specific plan in your follow-up visit (aka visit number 2)! This will allow me the time to focus on your personal case and to assess any blood work or testing if it applies. In this visit we may still need to dive deeper into your case which is why I offer different lengths of follow up appointments. Every patient is different which means there isn't a one size fits all approach. The follow up visit is also a good time to check in on any changes to your health since your last appointment and if any of the baseline treatments

created any changes.

Health Maintenance

Once we have taken the proper amount of time to make clear health goals, create a plan and implement these changes, it's time to move onto maintenance appointments. These appointments will be much more spread out than the initial and follow-up appointments and will allow for us to ensure your treatment plan continues to work for you. The end goal is to help you feel empowered and in control of your health as well as to give you the tools to maintain your

health long-term.
